Anodyne Helps CPT Patient Regain Active Lifestyle

Linda had been suffering from non-diabetic peripheral neuropathy for five years.  Because she was not diabetic, two neurologists, a rhumatologist and one podiatrist were baffled by the cause of her pain and numbness.

After five years of medication and a nerve release surgery in her right foot, Linda continued her quest for relief, and was eventually diagnosed.  She was soon scheduled for anodyne treatments.

Linda stated she was “cautiously optimistic” about the light therapy, but within 2-3 weeks began to notice a difference.  “I’m happy,” she said.  “I can sleep through the night and relax.  I haven’t been able to do either for a long time.”

“I’m taken aback by the simplicity of the procedure having been on a series of medications to relieve the pain.  Now, I’m looking to be able to get off the medication completely and regain my once active lifestyle.”

Peripheral Neuropathy- a disorder of the nervous system resulting from decreased circulation.  In most cases, it is a long-term complication of diabetes that causes numbness, weakness and pain.

Anodyne Therapy- FDA approved, noninvasive therapy that uses infrared photo energy to help reduce pain and improve circulation.  Covered by Medicare, Medicaid and most other major insurances.  Andodyne can also treat and speed healing for Bursitis, Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Tendonitis, Plantar Fascitis, Chronic Wounds and Nerve Entrapments.
